Vuonna 1982 Versatile esitteli Series 3 -versiot. Mallit 835, 875 ja 895
olivat edelleen ohjelmassa. Isompaan päähän tulivat 945, 955 ja 975, joissa
myös oli nyt 6-sylinterinen Cummins. 955:ssä oli uutuutena 12-portainen
täyspowershift. Muissa malleissa oli edelleen mekaaninen 12+4. Ohjaamo oli
uusittu ja varustettu ilmajousitetulla 7 suuntaan säätyvällä istuimella ja
digitaalisella monitoiminäytöllä.
